The movers arrived when expected for both pickup and delivery. I appreciate the communication from the driver. They were polite and courteous. This was my first time having used long distance movers, usually we do it ourselves, so I was nervous. It was all easier than I anticipated.

All three movers I had Richard,Kirk,and Crekett were a great group of guys. They made the moving process a fun experience. I would use them again if and when I ever need to move again. Don came to my house for an estimate and was pretty close to spot on for number of boxes needed and time to get the move done. They have you sign for an approved maximum charge so there are no surprises when you get the final charge at the end.

Kurt and his crew worked their asses off to get our move done quickly and professionally. They were respectful of our new house, covering floors, walls and doors. They packed our belongings securely and were on time for both the packing and moving appointments. Kurt is also a fun guy and complimented my shoes, so that was rad.

Overall, this was an easy, affordable, low-impact move. Cant ask for anything more. read less

He then asked me to give him and the team a tour of our house and asked where everything would be going. The move-in was so much quicker than our move-out. It took a bit over 3 hours. It would have been quicker if I had planned out where everything would
go better. It wasn't the same company that moved us from Hawaii. The company in Hawaii's name is Crown Relocations.

Tony handed me the customer check-off list, the crew called out numbers as they unloaded the crates and I crossed the numbers off. This was great since I got to see them unload each item and I got to direct them where it should go. Cris was very friendly and answered a handful of questions that I had about San Diego. Cris also gave me tips about my new puppy. Tony and his team did point out things that were damaged during the move which I appreciated.

When everything was unpacked Tony went over the paperwork with my husband and me. My husband came a bit later in the move in process, asked where specific items were and Tony was able to show him the items. It was nice to know that the company recycles the boxes and paper that was used to wrap items from the move. They offer a one-time free service to pick it up. This is my first experience moving states and I'm glad that Tony and his team showed up at my door. If we do move again I plan to request for this team. read less

Coordinating staff were really nice and helpful over the phone. Alfonso, Jesse, and Ernesto were efficient in packing and loading up our shipment.

After reading some of these reviews I have to admit I was terrified but my experience was great!
I got a call stating they were on their way early (which was better for me). They got to our place, gave me the inventory sheet, and got to unloading. Ryan and Darnelle were both really careful with the boxes. The way they handled our goods with care really stuck out to me. Everything was accounted for and it was a really quick unload (I mean it was only 2500lbs but still ). They answered my questions pretty thoroughly and overall it was a great experience. read less

The only thing I didn't like, which I know is not solely on them, is that I didn't see any special wrapping papers. Such as for moving mirrors or my desktop. I feel as if it'll be damaged in the long run because of this and when I scheduled my move over the phone, the person specifically asked if I had anything fragile.

All in all, good crew. Waiting to get my shipment back to update the review. Just to see if there's any scratches, missing pieces, damaged goods, etc. read less

This crew went above and beyond to help us get our shit together and move across San Diego County (from Poway to La Mesa). My mom owns hundreds of fragile glassware / chinaware / ceramics / decor AND 99% of our massive furniture is solid wood. I mean, to pack and move such difficult items, in addition to moving allll our regular everyday stuff, while maintaining good vibes over the course of three warm days in July? That's not easy. That's straight up impossible for a lot of people. You need the fortitude of the sun for that kind of ask. We were extremely lucky to work with this crew and receive their time and care throughout this move.

Special shoutout to Kirk, Rich, Ray and Crickett for all their help and expertise in getting us from point A to point B. y'all are legit. If you're reading this, I'd also like to say once again that cooking chicken in an air fryer doesn't dry it out -- the meat stays moist and the skin stays crispy. it's hella good and i recommend you try it if you haven't already read less

Overall, I had a very good experience. The first thing that I would like to mention is that I appreciated that someone actually answered the phone when I called, which provided me with ease and a sense of trust. Most local moving companies are run from the field and they often call you back when it is convenient for them, but that is not the level of customer support that I generally look for. The estimator was great to speak to and he walked me around my place and collected notes on the items I needed moved. One suggestion I would make to the company would be to use Face Time or take recorded videos in future estimates to improve the estimate accuracy. However, in my case the estimate was accurate and I was able to secure a move date with little over a weeks notice. The crew that showed up was professional and courteous. They brought floor protection for the building and they wrapped every electronic and piece of furniture to ensure the safety of my items. I was especially concerned about a large couch that I had and it was wrapped and easily moved out/in two doors without any damage. The crew moved quickly and the whole move took a little bit over 4 hours including transport time. I would definitely use Republic Moving & Storage again. read less

Ana & Amanda were my packers who showed up as per their estimated time. They made my move for out of state easy with a piece of mind nothing will break. I would recommend and request them to pack your next move.
