This soon-to-be, renown Republic Moving & Storage Quilt was made with love by Republic President Bill Lovejoy’s cousin Connie Chaney. Carrying on the Lovejoy’s traditions of quilting, down-home family values, hard work and dedication we are proud to announce that Cousin Connie’s art is now proudly displayed in the Republic headquarters as an example of what the Lovejoy heritage is all about.
“I love my heritage and appreciate the rugged life my family endured in the past.” said Republic President Bill Lovejoy. “Many of my family still “can” their own food, make their own clothes, and can cook terrific food. (especially deserts)! These folks are ‘can do” people who do not let life’s issues stand in their way of doing for others. Connie recently had knee surgery before her visit to California. Even though she had trouble walking, she still fixed a tasty batch of fudge for my family! Nothing seems to stop them! I’m proud of my family!”
And there you have it. The quilt writing is on the wall. The entire Republic Moving & Storage company was built on family values, hard work, dedication and treating each and every client like they are part of the family. This quilt is just another reminder of how we got to where we are today and how we will continue to provide the top-of-the-line moving services that have made us America’s Finest Movers.
